COVID-19 Policy at MacDonald Island (RRC)

FMMBA foremost priority will always be the safety of our players, coaches, volunteers and families.  FMMBA will follow the guidelines and mandates set forth by the government of Alberta, AHS, our sport governing body of Baseball Alberta and the guidelines put in place at MacDonald Island (RRC).

 MacDonald Island Guideline:

• All guests that are entering the building must be masked and observed social distancing at all times, this includes the view areas, hallways and common areas
• All adult guests that are participating in an activity / private rental, (this includes coaches/parents that are actively participating within a youth booking) must have the following available at any time upon request in order to participate in the activity/rental:
  • be able to produce a vaccine record that shows proof of vaccine -
    • this can be the paper copy or a digital copy from the venue that you received your approved vaccination
    • this can be the paper copy or a digital copy from AHS proof of vaccination card
      • at this time - up until October 25, proof of partial vaccination (one dose) is considered acceptable as long as the dose was given more than 2 weeks before the time of the activity/rental
      • after October 25 - proof of full vaccination (two doses) is required for all adults
    • must be able to provide valid photo identification that matches the vaccine records that you have provided

Please know that spot checks will be preformed by MacDonald Island in order to ensure that these protocols are being followed by all adult guests, the check can be preformed by RRC staff, AHS staff, as well as Bi-Law officers.  If a group is found to have guests that are participating in the activity / rental that are not complying to the present protocols that are in place, the entire group may be asked to leave, the person or persons that is not following the protocols as well, could be fined and the entire group could possibly loose their booking privileges at the RRC and its centres for a period of time.
